Rex Whittaker

Rex is the principal of NBC Financial Services and NBC Accounting Services, and works as a qualified Accountant and Financial Adviser within the firm.

Rex’s working history involves managing a small business for three years and working in the finance department of major corporations for eight years. He has worked as a Tax Accountant and Business Consultant since 1999 and as a Financial Adviser since 2004.

Rex holds a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Accounting and Management Information Systems, as well as an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning. He is a member of recognised bodies, FPA and CPA Australia.

With these affiliation and extensive experience, Rex is well qualified to help clients achieve their financial goals as well as committed to building long-term relationships with his clients and providing them with the best in professional advice and personal service.

As an Authorised Representative of Apogee Financial Planning Ltd, Rex is able to assist clients with investment selection and taxation strategies, superannuation strategy, as well as estate planning and risk management. He is especially interested in providing strategic investment advice within Self-Managed Super Funds.

Rex divides his working week between our Mount Gambier and Millicent offices after moving to Mount Gambier in early 2013 after living in Millicent for 25 years.
